Final reflection

I have completed all the studies in this module and I have really learned a lot from this module. At first, I thought that design principles was a boring theoretical class, but in the end, I realized that in this module we had a lot of opportunities to apply the design principles that we learned in class to our designs. Although I didn't really like the exercises at the beginning because it was kind of boring for me to just apply the principles to design, I understand that it was to give us a better understanding of the design principles we learned. But I really enjoyed it when we started working on the projects because all the projects we did require us to think and explore, which I think is interesting. By thinking and exploring, I met a lot of other great work, and I learned and absorbed a lot of knowledge that will help me in future design.

Before learning this module, I only knew whether the design was beautiful or not, but after I learned the design principles, I can clearly state the design principles that apply to different designs and can analyze the design in a more professional way. Also by learning design principles, I can make better designs because I know how to incorporate design principles into my work.

One of my regrets is that I didn't have the opportunity to try more ways of presenting my designs, as this module is the most free material use and we are allowed to use it anyway to do the design. I still have a lot of interesting ideas that I want to explore and implement, but due to lack of time and materials, sometimes I can only do my design in the simplest way.

In conclusion, I learned a lot from this module and enjoyed the entire 14 weeks of learning. I will continue to use what I have learned in this module for the rest of my studies.
