Week 5 lecture recap:
We learn double exposure in week 5, double exposure photography refers to
the merging of multiple images. Its purpose is to make the image become
surreal, emotional, or humorous. They are usually characterized by
silhouettes. The double exposure effect may seem complicated at first. But
it is easy to create in-camera and in Adobe Photoshop. In the editing
field, you have endless possibilities. You can turn ordinary photos into
powerful masterpieces.
Project 2A: Double exposure
We were asked to download all the images provided and follow the tutorial
demo video to create a double-exposure artwork using the images provided.
Also, we were supposed to take our own pictures and create our own
double-exposure work.
Here is the work I created following the tutorial demonstration video.
Here's what I created with my own photos, I create two pieces, but in the
end, I select the second one (figure 5.3) as the final submission for the
double exposure exercise because I added a filter to it to make it look a
little nicer.

I learned a lot about Adobe Photoshop in this exercise, and it was fun to
create our own work in addition to following the tutorial's demo.
Week 6 lecture recap:
We were asked to watch the videos given to us about the basics of
photography in preparation for week 7. At the same time, we could start
thinking about the ideas for project 2C: imaginative and creative ideas.

the idea of digital surrealism, in the next session we were asked to come
up with our sketch idea.

The goal of project 2B was to take a set of photos that could be combined and that were visually irrational. My idea for this project was to combine two different fruits together and form one fruit, the message that I would like to convey was: don't judge people by their appearance. The fruits most readily available to me were apples and oranges, so I decided to use those two fruits to complete my project 2B.

process
I took many photos of apple and orange just to get the perfect angle and also the best perspective for my future editorial work.

When editing using Photoshop, first I removed the background of the orange.

Then I dragged the photo of the orange into the photo of the hand holding the apple and adjusted the orange until it matched the apple exactly.

Last but not least, add a filter to the photo and create a new background for it, making it more visually contrasting.
Here is my final outcome for project 2B.
